On December 10, the boiler No. 1 of Yangquan's first domestic waste incineration power plant was successfully ignited, marking that the plant has officially entered the dynamic commissioning phase of the plant. It is expected to handle more than 200,000 tons of domestic waste per year after commissioning and generate 50 million kilowatts Time.
In recent years, with the gradual increase of urban population, the amount of domestic garbage has also gradually increased. In order to further reduce waste discharge and realize resource recycling, Yangquan City has made continuous efforts in the harmless treatment of waste and comprehensive utilization of resources. The city's first domestic waste incineration power plant was invested and constructed by Shanxi Rongguang Energy Co., Ltd., jointly funded by Shanxi International Energy Group and Hangzhou Jinjiang Group. The project started in August 2016 with a total investment of 525 million yuan, which belongs to a circular economy industry project encouraged and supported by the state. The waste treatment adopts the circulating incineration bed integrated incineration technology, and the supporting facilities such as desulfurization, denitration, leachate treatment, and ash treatment in the furnace are simultaneously constructed. The first phase of the project will be put into operation at the end of the year. It is expected to handle more than 200,000 tons of domestic waste annually. After grid-connected power generation, the annual power generation can reach 50 million kilowatt hours.
Not only that, the slag, fly ash, flue gas and leachate produced by the incineration of domestic waste will be up to standard treatment. Among them, the slag can be comprehensively used, the fly ash will be chelated and solidified, and the leachate will reach the industrial reuse water standard after treatment . At the same time, each boiler in the domestic waste incineration power plant is equipped with an on-line flue gas monitoring system to ensure that flue gas emissions meet environmental protection requirements.
